Love Shack owner John Cornetta has submitted an Ante Litem Notice to the City of Johns Creek for $688,000.

Cornetta’s attorney Cary S. Wiggins sent notice to Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker proclaiming lost profits. In his letter, Wiggins alleged that the city wrongfully denied a sign permit for the Love Shack; therefore, alleging the store lost $65,000 - $75,000 in monthly profits from October 2007.  Georgia- A controversial adult retail shop owner in Johns Creek lost a round in federal court last week.
Federal Judge Thomas Thrash Jr. ruled that after Fulton County denied a business license to the Love Shack in 2006, Love Shack owner John Cornetta should have appealed the denial with Fulton County administrators before heading to federal court. Read more »

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Love Shack owner John Cornetta has been found in contempt of court by a Fulton County judge and denied his appeal in Federal Court for a retroactive business license that would have brought him into compliance with the city’s zoning laws, according to local news sources.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville ruled March 28 that Cornetta was in contempt of court for continuing to operate the Love Shack in disregard of his Feb. 28 ruling that the store qualified as an adult business and thus could not operate in its current location per Johns Creek zoning regulations.
