The city of Johns Creek filed a petition Friday in Fulton County Superior Court to force the owner of the Love Shack to close or comply with city laws. The court pleading alleges that the Love Shack is in violation of several city ordinances, such as operating without a business license or a sexually oriented business license and being too close to residential areas and businesses selling alcohol.

If the city prevails, then the owner, John Cornetta, must either close the store, seek a rezoning, make it a nonadult business or move it. There is no indication when a judge might consider the petition. Read more »

In the month of June, these companies raised $6,826.46 to be donated to the victims of a recent fire in the community of Johns Creek and to assist in the development of a Fire Department in Johns Creek. With 1% of gross sales from area stores and 2% of sales from the Love Shack’s Johns Creek store, the Love Shack is donating $5,058.46 from its June sales. Read more »

An adult video store owner who has fought for months with the city of Johns Creek now has applied for a business license to open a sports bar at Technology Park/Johns Creek.
And the city gave it to him.
Johns Creek officials on Tuesday issued a business license to John Cornetta, the owner of the Love Shack, and last week issued him a temporary beer and wine license. Read more »
