Why Won’t They Accept the Love Shack Adult Bookstore?
It’s a Little Place Where Suburbanites Can Get Together
The people in Johns Creek, Georgia need to get a life. It seems that they don’t want a new Love Shack, an adult bookstore in their neck of the woods. According to the good folks of this new community that is about 30 minutes north of Atlanta, the store will bring down property values. I have seen this movie before in my area down the road. When the owner of a Georgia adult video store (the “Love Shack”) was told by a federal district judge he would be in contempt of court if his store contained a “significant amount” of adult material because the adult-themed store was in violation of local zoning rules, he did what any discerning adult video store owner would do: he started diluting his stock of XXX-rated films with children’s movies. Fulton County doesn’t lock doors of controversial adult store
Today, judge for the owners of the Love Shack to either close its door or reduce its sexually oriented merchandise.
The store was cited by Fulton County Code Enforcement officers about 4 p.m. for operating an adult business without proper zoning, and for having banners without proper permits. Read more »

Judge Tom Thrash agreed to stay his order until 3 p.m. Thursday to give the store’s owner, John Cornetta, time to appeal to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Read more »
